Today was Dino Day!!!!

As campers arrived and settled in they looked through giant books of dinosaurs I gathered from the library. They each chose a dino, then we used a tape measure and sidewalk chalk to create lines as long as each dino. I’m almost as tall as the average velociraptor!

After looking at sea fossils from local creeks and lakes, a leaf from New Mexico, and a fish fossil from Wyoming, we created our own fossils. We pressed different types of pasta into air dry clay.

Next we created Dino Sculptures. Campers used a variety of colors and patterns on their wonderful sculptures!
