Fiber Arts Fun Summer Camp 2026

Campers enjoyed the annual Tie-dyeing day, during which we also dyed fabric in jars and in ziplock bags to make bed pillowcases later in the week. Once we had dyed the fabric, students used Solar Fast dye to create sun prints along the hem of their pillowcases. Students also created woven trees and sewed felt pouches.

This was an impressive group that picked up on lots of new skills very quickly. They happily chatted while sewing and shared supplies and Mr. Z’s and my time politely, even when they didn’t feel patient. And their fiber art project results were fantastic!
